Cookie Society is a bakery and dessert brand founded by Jeff and Marissa Allen, a husband and wife duo with a passion for creating delectable treats. Marissa's love for baking and competitive nature drove her to spend endless hours in the kitchen, testing and perfecting her recipes. With Jeff's support and feedback from his NFL teammates, the couple worked tirelessly to bring their brand to life.
After selling hundreds of boxes via e-commerce, Cookie Society opened its first retail location in Frisco, Texas in 2020, just as the pandemic hit. Despite the challenging circumstances, the business thrived through third-party services, to-go orders, and e-commerce sales. Media outlets like Rachel Ray Magazine, Oprah’s Favorite Things, ESPN, CBS Sports, and Good Morning America took notice, resulting in a staggering 200% growth in their business and e-commerce sales.
Today, Cookie Society has expanded to two retail locations in the Dallas area, Frisco and Addison, with a Southlake location coming in late July 2023. Their offerings still include e-commerce, catering, and corporate gifting with a full service cookie truck also in production. Through trial and error, extensive research, great mentors, and flexibility, they have developed a thriving business.
What started as an e-commerce bakery with random drops, small pop-ups, and assorted brown boxes, has now grown into a multi-million dollar dessert brand. With many growth opportunities on the horizon, Cookie Society doesn't plan on slowing down anytime soon.
Their dedication to creating delicious treats, coupled with their ability to adapt to challenging circumstances, and authentically communicate to their target audience has made them a favorite among customers and a standout in the dessert industry.
